Why am I so bad at this

I have always had strong academics in college. I graduated valedictorian from my nursing program. But the GRE is destroying me. I am halfway through the I’m overwhelmed plan, and took practice test one and two. I scored a 150Q 151V on the first test, and a 138Q 149V on the second test.

Initially, I was very excited to see a 301 on the first test. I’m applying to CRNA schools, which only require a 300 with a hard requirement of 150Q. After taking test 2, my confidence is destroyed. My writing on both was a 4, which is what I need for school.

I struggle deeply with math. Learning new words is fun, so I don’t really struggle with that

What would you do going forward? Finish the overwhelmed plan, try again? Finish the overwhelmed plan, do the strategy videos, then try again?

I have an idea of how to approach most verbal questions. Sometimes I have no idea what I’m looking at with the quant. I feel I’d perform the same using pen, paper, calculator while trying to solve a function problem as I would picking my favorite number at that moment.

Which practice tests were these?

I’m very sorry for the late reply; I didn’t receive an email notification, and assumed I would. I sincerely apologize for the delay. I took Practice Tests 1 and 2: the first score I listed corresponds to Test 1, and the second score corresponds to Test 2.

I do have good news. After a month of additional study (not that much due to my work schedule), I improved my score on test 2 quite a bit.
