I have been struggling with the whole 5lb book section on ratios. Any advise?
If you haven’t touched those basic concept in a while then it’s better to first focus on building the foundation(If you prefer books then look at ETS Math Review or if you’re better at learning via media then look at Quant Concept Series by Greg) or can look at other youtube videos.
Apart from that what you can do is review your work. Let say you are solving 10 questions under 13 minutes then after you’re done, work through your solutions step-by-step on the ones which you’ve gotten wrong! You can just goggle the 5lb questions and many solutions will appear, try to see where you’re making mistake → pinpoint it → write it down and before you start another practice session , glance through your error log

Ratio problems come in different forms and I really did not even know where to begin. I had to look at the explanations for almost every single one, which makes me think that I need to get the basics down like you had mentioned. Thank you for the reply, it is much appreciated!
